On 17th November 1997 while working in her coconut and bettlenut garden Shrimati Draupadi Dharma Patil, found a copper trunk weighing about 30 Kgs. In that trunk she found a 24 carat gold Ganesha mask weighing 1 Kg 325 gms. The inscription on the trunk read as 1060 AD. Later this idol was deified and instated in a temple in the village now called the Suvarna Ganesh Temple.
Also known as Rupnarayan temple is believed to be built in 13th Century. It is temple of Lord Vishnu and is the best example of Sculpture. It is built of ‘Jambha’ Stone.
The Shiv temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a piece of art to look at. As like Sundarnarayan Temple, this is built of ‘Jambha’ Stone.
